If you often download pictures or have certain applications that store images you may notice that some of these images show up in your photo gallery. Ever wish you could filter some of the archives containing these irrelevant pictures? Well you’re in luck.

XDA member knox420 has created an app which will allow you to exclude certain folders from displaying within your gallery by adding a .nomedia file within the folders you wish to be hidden. This file will allow users to filter out the folders they don’t want in their gallery, while also maintaining the ability to add back said folders by simply unchecking the box next to the excluded archive.

If this application sounds like it could be useful to you drop by the XDA thread and grab a copy. Be sure to let the developer know what you think and gives thanks where necessary.
